Modern Groove Boutique Return Policy 


Thank you for choosing Modern Groove Boutique! Please be aware that our return policy is set in place to protect our boutique, customers, and pricing.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it with tags attached (no odor, wear, makeup stains, perfumes, animal hair/odor, alterations to the items, cigarette smoke, etc.). All returns made within the allotted time period will receive a full refund. Please see below the time allotment whether your item was shipped or purchased for local pickup. 

For shipped items, our policy lasts 10 days from the date your item is delivered. If the 10 days have gone by since your delivery, unfortunately we can’t offer you a return on your item(s). If an item is returned that is outside the return window, it will be shipped back to purchaser at the purchaser’s expense. Purchaser will have 1 week to pay the shipping fee before item is disposed of. When completing returns within the allotted time, we recommend to use a shipping provider with tracking information. 

PLEASE NOTE!! If your original order qualified you for a free shipping promotion and you return any or all items from your purchase, you will receive a refund for your merchandise minus the cost of shipping the original order.

If you choose local pickup, you have 14 days from the date your order is placed to complete your return. Local pickup is in Jacksonville at our store front location, or Roodhouse at Bailey's home (please email for the address if you need it). Pickup is arranged as soon as possible to ensure return time doesn’t lapse before item is picked up. Returned items must be dropped off by the end of the 14th day. 

**All returns will receive a full refund if returned in the allotted timeframes.

All sale items, giveaway items, jewelry, bralettes, hair accessories, body care and gift cards are non-returnable. 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your return. Rejections will only occur if the item does not meet the above criteria.

Defective Items
I stand behind my products, and thoroughly inspect each item prior to shipment, however, sometimes things may slip by. If you receive a defective item, please take a picture and send it in a message or email as soon as possible. Normal wear and tear is NOT considered defective, and will not be accepted. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged prior to wear. Defective or damaged items must be reported within 72 hours of either delivery (shipped items) or order date (pickup items). You will need to send us an email at: and we can arrange a return label, or drop off for locals. Return of the defective item must be completed within 7 days of pick up or delivery of the item.

Shipping a Return:
To return your product, you will need to email us at with "return" in the subject line to coordinate an address and/or shipping label. 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. I highly suggest using a shipping service that provides tracking information (USPS, UPS, Fedex),

Excessive Returns

More than 3 returns in a 30 day period is considered excessive and are subject to a 15% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your return.
